Get excited — Disney World 2026 bookings are officially open for travel dates through October 31, 2026! That means you can lock in your magical vacation early, take advantage of deals, and secure your preferred resort before availability starts to tighten up.
Whether you're a returning Disney family or planning your very first trip, here’s everything you need to know about what’s coming, what’s changing, and why you should book early.
Why Book Your 2026 Disney World Vacation Early?
More Resort Availability: Popular resorts and room types (especially those 5th sleeper rooms!) go fast.
Flexible Payment Options: Just $200 down secures your package, and you can make payments over time.
More Time to Plan: Dining reservations, park strategies, Genie+ replacement (Multi Pass), and more — I help with all of it.
First Access to Deals: Booking early means you can jump on promos like this one...
Free Dining for Kids Is Back!
For a limited time, Disney is offering free dining for kids ages 3–9 when you purchase a dining plan for the adults in your package. This deal is valid with select 2026 vacation packages that include tickets and a Disney World resort stay.
It’s one of the best ways to save on a Disney vacation — especially for families with little ones who love character meals or snacks galore.

What to Expect in 2026 at Disney World
Here’s what’s confirmed to be available for 2026 guests:
30-minute Early Park Entry for all Disney Resort hotel guests
Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resort guests on select nights
Free Resort Transportation to and from the Disney parks
Free Waterpark Admission Returns in Summer 2026 (details to come!)
Closures & Refurbishments to Watch For
Planning ahead means knowing what might be unavailable during your trip. Here's what we already know for 2026:
Skyliner Refurbishment: The Disney Skyliner will be down January 25–31, 2026
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: Scheduled to be closed at least early in 2026
Other areas that may experience closures or refurbishments (though no dates are announced yet):
Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom
Muppet Courtyard and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios
Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat at Magic Kingdom
Keep in mind: timelines for reopenings or replacements haven't been released yet, and Disney often shifts plans — another reason to book with someone who tracks this info for you!
So, What’s Not Announced Yet?
While we know new attractions and entertainment are in the works — like Magic Kingdom’s new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge, or the ongoing transformation of DinoLand — Disney hasn’t released opening dates for any of them.
Same goes for newer offerings like the Summertime nighttime parade — we don’t yet know if that will return in 2026.
